About the Item
A fine pair of antique ormolu, gilt bronze, mounted Imari decorated porcelain baluster form vases.
Wonderfully mounted with rococo style ormolu mounts, complete with feather plume form handles.
Condition: Please see detail photos. Some wear and surface scratches, scuffs and wear to the decorative finish of the porcelain as well as some loss of the gilt finish and wear to the ormolu mounts. All wear is commensurate with age and handling. The mounts are also slightly loose on the vase. Despite wear the pair present in an exceptional manner.
