Frantisek Vizner for Skrdlovice Czech Cinnamon Art Glass Vase, circa 1960
About the Item
A stunning and heavily made iconic Czech art glass vase designed by Frantisek Vizner for Skrdlovice and dating from the 1960s. The vase is of cylindrical form with a clear glass upper body containing trapped air bubbles and with a cinnamon colored lower body, the flat top with a deep narrow opening. The vase has a flat cut base and is not marked. While this vase was made in other colors we consider this to be one of the most attractive and stylish color combinations.
Offered in excellent condition with the usual age wear to the base. There are couple of very minor roughs to the lower edge of the vase but these are not significant.
