Additional Information: We have two vases available, priced each. The vase technique is "Latticino." The "fazzoletto" design and form was originally created by Fulvio Bianconi for Venini in 1949. Other leading Murano furnaces like Seguso Vetri d'Arte and Fratelli Toso soon replicated this popular handkerchief design. Reference (one pictured): Circa Fifties Glass from Europe & America, Leslie Pina, pg. 104. Provenance: Collection of Leslie & Ramon Pina, Beachwood, Ohio. Leslie Pina has authored over fifty books on 20th-century design, each focused on a specific area she and her husband Ramon personally collected and studied.
