Fratelli Toso Murano Millefiori Flower Star Opal Mosaic Italian Art Glass Vase
About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown multi-color Millefiori Murrina flower and star mosaic Italian art glass vase. Documented to the Fratelli Toso Company. The vase has a large mouth with flared rim. Many of the murrines are lined in opal white, and some others that are more intricate are lined in a metallic black. It has a rainbow of colors, including red, pink, blue, aqua, yellow, green, orange and white. The larger murrines lined in black have a bullseye designs in red, pink and blue. Some have multiple bullseyes in one. Others just solid colors. Very much like stained glass. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or table. Mid-century era. Measures 6 1/2" tall x 4 1/2" wide.
