About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown opalescent pink and controlled bubbles Italian art glass flower vase. Documented to the Fratelli Toso company. It still retains an original label. There is a slightly worn "Murano Glass - Made In Italy" silver and blue label underneath (see photos). The vase is made in the "Bullicante" control bubbles technique. The outside opal color of the vase changes depending on the light hitting it and background, from light pink, to a lavender / bluish color on a dark background (opal layers show through more). It has a pulled flared out glass rim, with scroll decoration on one side creating a unique shape. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or side table. Mid-century era. A gorgeous piece for any decor. Measures 7 5/8" tall x 6" long x 4 1/2" wide across the rim.
