About the Item

Beautiful pair of antique vases from the Art Nouveau period, made of turquoise and brown glazed majolica earthenware, by Joseph and Emile l’Herminé-Declercq, made in Orchies, Northern France, circa 1900, stamped and numbered 499-2 on the bottom. Originally this pair of vases most likely had a central jardinière, probably numbered 499-1. These rare vases are decorated with acanthus scrolls and leaves, the elegant handles are very decorative, the vase has a flaming decoration with colour shades ranging from turquoise to yellow and brown crackle glaze. This pair is in perfect antique condition, no cracks, breaks or chips which is very exceptional, check the photos for more details! Dimensions: 16x12x27cm each. Weight: 1.634kg together.
