Frosty Blue Bottleneck Vessel No. 6 by Dana Chieco
About the Item
Wheel-thrown bottleneck vessel handmade by Dana Chieco and glazed with frosty blue and green/bronze glazes. This piece elegantly melds traditional craft with modern aesthetics, serving as a testament to the timeless beauty of heirloom pottery.
Depending on the light, it appears a creamier/lighter blue with beautiful white crystals to a darker cobalt blue. Due to the narrow opening, it is a beautiful standalone piece of art, or could be styled with thin stems of dried or faux botanicals.

Dana Chieco Studio
Introducing ceramics artist Dana Chieco. Deeply inspired by the natural world, Dana often spends several hours creating each one-of-a-kind piece, drawing from memory, intuition, spontaneity and something more that is indecipherable. She is fascinated by the infinite creative possibilities afforded by clay, as well as the alchemical process of transforming supple earth into vessels that can last for thousands of years. It is a tradition that she is honored to contribute to, fueled by the hope that her work will convey the beauty, serenity, presence and uniqueness of objects made by hand, while making your dearest spaces feel even more like home. Dana accepts commissions for your preferred shapes/glazes/sizes/inscriptions and welcomes in-person viewings of her work in Los Angeles. Please allow 5-8 weeks for special orders.
