Unique contemporary decorative porcelain vase, intricately hand painted in vivid blue and green on a beautiful tall body, a signed work by second-generation master porcelain artist of the Imari-Arita region of Japan, highly acclaimed for his painstakingly detailed portrayal of historical scenes and themes. The artist boasts his interpretation of owls freely roaming in a forest. Owl in Japanese is "fukuro" and since "fuku" that is part of the name means good fortune and luck, owl became the symbol of good fortune. This artist's profile is available upon request. This exquisite hand painted porcelain vase comes in a custom made wooden case signed by the artist. Dimensions: H 11.5 in, D 5 in.
