About the Item

Impressive and huge Swedish Mid-Century Modern ceramic Höganäs vase by Erik Ivarsson. Signed by E.I for the Swedish company Andersson & Johansson at Höganäs Keramik in the mid-20th century. This vase with motif of naked bodys is represented at the Höganäs Museum Collection in Sweden. Studies of bodys in blue and plum (brownish) on a white underglaze Note that the vase have two acid marks made at the manufacture process. Stamped: Hand crafted Höganäs E. I. and 870.
