Iridescent blue blown glass vase by Mayauel Ward, 2015

About the Item

Iridescent blown glass vase with a tapered and fluted body, and waisted, flaring rim. The iridescence fades from a deep metallic blue-green at the top to a rich blue-purple at the bottom of the vase. Undertones of green, brown, and purple throughout. An exceptionally dynamic piece. Manhattan Beach, California, 2015. Etched on the underside: Mayauel Ward, 2015
