About the Item

These lamps feature vasiform cream glazed porcelain shades adorned with base relief scenes that evoke a sense of romance and history. One side depicts courting lovers, while the opposite side presents a medieval landscape with a castle and bridge, each rim adorned with raised floral vines. The lamp bases, faux bronze gilt porcelain, are adorned with charming cherubs, bellflower swags, and other neoclassical motifs, adding a touch of opulence to their design. While one lamp bears a spurious Meissen crossed swords mark, the other features a spurious Dresden mark, further contributing to their historical allure.
