About the Item
Art Deco brassware vase by Jacques Douau, France, 1937. Geometric silver-plated pattern inside a dark brown patina. Measures: height: 10.2 "(26 cm), diameter: 6.2" (15.8 cm). This vase was specially edited for the Paris International Fair in 1937. Stamped "Exposition Paris 1937" under the base (see photo) which gives a very particular and historical value to this piece. A few identical pieces appeared on the market, but later and without reference to the Paris International Fair in 1937. Some traces of age (see photos). Good condition!
