(Seto kilns are marked with red circles on the map.) It is said to have originated around the 13th century. This is a pottery made in the late Edo period around the 19th century. Two types of glaze are used for this. It is a brown glaze containing white glaze and iron. This was originally a container for oil. The white glaze has been discolored due to the oil being put in for a long time, and the overall cool stains are oozing out. It smells like oil, but it doesn't bother me.
