Japanese Contemporary Blue Gold White Porcelain Vase by Master Artist, 3

About the Item

Exquisite Japanese contemporary museum quality decorative porcelain vase in a stunning ovoid shape featuring the artist's signature geometric pattern that is extremely intricately hand painted in stunning deep blue and gold. It is a signed masterpiece by highly acclaimed and award-winning master porcelain artist, and the younger of a two-brother team of master porcelain artists working in the historic Imari-Arita region of southern Japan. The extremely intricate geometric progression is carefully calibrated to create a kaleidoscopic effect, and the focal point of the medallion is placed slightly north of center to more effectively capture and hold the eye. This artist is second-to-none in creating extremely complicated geometric patterns by applying the most sophisticated and demanding techniques of miniature painting to the complex and curved surfaces of porcelain pieces. This unique mesmerizing porcelain vase comes in a custom made wooden case signed by the artist. Dimensions: H 9.5 in D 9 in.
