Organically shaped porcelain vase with abstract multicolored glaze on the exterior surface.
This item is a SECOND QUALITY item. This piece came out of the kiln with a crack on the bottom of the piece. The crack was patched and fixed so the piece is watertight and can hold water. Please see the photos or inquire about details.

Luft Tanaka Studio
Luft Tanaka Studio specializes in creating original art objects, furniture, and lighting at the intersection of design, technology, and craft. Originally from Kasugai, Japan, Luft moved to New York City in 2008 and studied Product Design at Parsons School of Design. Luft utilizes his intuitive understanding of materials and processes, to meticulously craft unique and covetable pieces of art. The Kawa Series, which he produces by casting liquid porcelain into sewn leather molds, is a result of years of experimentation and invention of a production method completely unique to Luft Tanaka Studio.
