Large 19th Century Sunken Chinese Wabi Sabi Stapled Clay Pot

A large and characterfully misshapen 19th century clay pot, likely having collapsed in the kiln during the firing process - resulting in an incredible part-sunken form. A rare survivor which includes historic iron staple repairs. Chinese, c. 1870.
