Large Antique Meiji Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Vase Crane in Bamboo Field

About the Item

An antique Japanese, late Meiji period, enamel over brass vase. The vase has an amphora shaped body and a fluted neck. The ware is enameled with a polychrome image of a crane in bamboo trees made in the Cloisonne technique. The base of the ware is adorned with a geometrical ornament made in the same technique. Unmarked. Circa: late 19th century attributed to Ando Jubei Dimensions: H 9 3/4 in. All measurements are approximate. Condition Overall good vintage condition. Signs of wear and Age. Refer to photos.
