Large High Quality Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Vase Takara-Mono and Fans

About the Item

A large antique Japanese Cloisonne , late Meiji period, enamel over gilt copper vase. The vase has an amphora shaped body and a fluted neck. The ware is enameled with polychrome medallions and panels depicting cranes, birds and butterflies in blossoming flowers and plants, and images of fans made in the Cloisonne technique. The neck is decorated with polychrome enamel panels with foliage ornaments made in the same technique. The base of the ware features a geometrical pattern made in the same technique. Unmarked. Circa: late 19th century Attributed to Shibata Antique and Vintage Asian and Oriental Enamel Vases, Table Wares, Home Decor, and Collectibles. OVERALL GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION. SIGNS OF AGE AND WEAR. REFER TO PHOTOS. H 7 1/8 IN. ALL MEASUREMENTS ARE APPROXIMATE.
