About the Item

A pair of rare large high quality antique Japanese Meiji Era enamel over brass vases. The vases of amphora form with elegant narrow necks slightly expanding to the rim. The exterior is enameled with detailed polychrome images of blossoming flowers and plants made using the Cloisonne technique on glossy red enamel ground. Unmarked. Antique and Vintage Asian and Oriental Enamel Vases, Table Wares, Home Decor, and Collectibles. OVERALL GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION. SIGNS OF AGE AND WEAR. REFER TO PHOTOS. H 14 1/2 IN.
