About the Item
The intricate patterns of the twisted towers are a spectacular and dizzying feat of design. A subtle but eye catching illusion is created as the twists spiral out from a central geometric base. Each tower is formed by slip-casting technique and carefully hand finished until the turns are smooth and flawless. As the towers fire in the kiln, the melted glaze is guided outwards by the spirals and hardens to form the twisted glass surfaces that make this design so alluring. The layered colors of Jade flow along the pattern changing from aquamarine to a dark mint giving texture to the piece. Each vase has unique streaks of green teal highlights delicately flowing around the vase. The lower part is colored with a glossy white to create a contrast and make the colors pop.
