The bottle captures the light, transitioning from a profound midnight blue to a softer, moodier shade reminiscent of Yves Klein blue. Cobalt glass, known for its use in both art and industry since antiquity, brings a touch of historical elegance to this piece. Known as “smalt” when ground as a pigment, cobalt glass is prepared with a cobalt compound in a glass melt.
