About the Item

A late Victorian-era Bohemian glass vase, crafted between 1890-1899 by renowned Bohemian/Czech glassmakers Harrach. The small bud vase features deeply fluted glass swirls around its rotund body, with a thin neck that splays outward into a ruffled glass collar. Made from cased marbled glass in vibrant tones of yellow swirled with white, it is hand-decorated with fine gold enamel, depicting a scene of blooming prunus blossom. This 1890s Czech glass vase is a fine representation of late Victorian glass style and techniques. Measuring 13.5 cm in height with a diameter of 8.5 cm, the vase is in good condition for its age and use. There is a hairline tension crack on the outer layer of the cased glass body. Please refer to images for further details.
