About the Item
Large, important ceramic vase by Italian master Marcello Fantoni with a beautiful decor with a drip glaze finishing. This vase has tactile finishing, alternating smooth and rough surfaces, a signature mark of Italian 1960s ceramics, also present in the works of contemporary artists such as Guido Gambone, Nanni Valentini, Aldo Londi and others.
The decor has stunning and lively colors, hard to represent in pictures. This piece has strong and refined decorative qualities, it will not pass unseen in an interior.
This piece is signed under the base remains in its original state with no defect nor restorations, and a charming patina of time.
