About the Item
Massive blue vase in blown Murano glass Pulegoso attributed to Martinuzzi, 1950s.
This unique Venetian vase in blown Murano glass was manufactured with a special processing, called Pulegoso, which consists in boiling the piece to obtain a particular effect of bubbles.
In the upper part, the vase is decorated with four medallions which are holding a rich carved cordon suspended all around and with a narrower cord which runs around the neck, to match the rounded edge of the vase.
The manufacture of this piece goes back to the 1950s, and is attributed to Martinuzzi. This masterpiece is entirely handcrafted.
This work of art is in perfect original condition as documented in the attached photos.
