An outstanding hand-blown Murano art glass vase featuring a dynamic, expressionist pattern of molten red, green, blue, and brown strokes over a white background — evoking the energy and spontaneity of American Abstract Expressionist painting.
The form is elegantly balanced, with an elongated bottle shape, a narrow neck, and an expressive, organic opening. The interior is lined with a thick layer of white opaline glass, giving the exterior colors a soft, translucent glow.
Hand-blown in Italy circa the 1950s–1960s, this is a substantial piece of craftsmanship, weighing approximately 2.3 kg (81 oz) and measuring 26 cm (10.25 in) high by 13 cm (5.1 in) in diameter.
