MidCentury Modern Porcelain Vase w/ 24k Yellow Gold Gilt, signed Tirschenheut

About the Item

This elegant Mid Century Modern porcelain vase was realized by the esteemed maker Tirschenheut in Germany circa 1960. It features a cylindrical body in white porcelain that flares subtly from its circular base before tapering to a round mouth. The exterior of the piece offers geometric detailing in 24kt gold gilt, consisting of a grid pattern composed of floating blocks of gold with black line detailing at the corners of each square form. With its fastidious craftsmanship, refined color palate, and clean modernist lines, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century to contemporary. While it is a perfectly functional vessel- ideal for storing flowers- it is also an objet d'art in its own right that promises to beautify any surface that it graces. It is in excellent vintage condition. Signed "Tirschenheut Germany" on the base. Dimensions: Height: 11" x Diameter: 4"
