About the Item
Beautiful and rare vase by Adele Bolz for Ruscha Keramik. The ‘Filigran’ decor was only produced for a short period due to its labour intensity. The decor was hand carved.
Adele Bolz started in ceramic after a career as a ballet dancer. In 1955 she began at Arno Kiiechle, designing several popular decors. Ruscha managed to get her over in 1959. Next to the Filigran decor she made numerous pretty decors for Ruscha. In 1963 she left Ruscha for a career at Ulmer Keramik until her death in 1964 (aged 50).
