In 1978 the crisis of global foreign markets turned the Italian export of souvenirs into a no longer sustainable business. In 1979 Paolo Crepax immersed in the artistic life of Venice. He transformed his company into an artistic orientation and expanded an experimential path in the world of decorative lighting and successful production by the technique of filigree and other valuable artistic works. In 1989 Paul Crepax meets in Venice Ottavio Missoni and Milo Schoon for whom he made two innovative glass collections. In 1990 Paul Crepax began working for established companies as Leucos, Artemide, Vistosi, OtyLight. "After 54 years working with glass for me it is as if it was still the first day I could not help working this amazing and fascinating material. The art creates sleepless nights - getting up at 3 o' clock in the morning sketching a drawing and see it materialized in even more beautiful glass finish work on Friday and waiting anxiously for the final result on Monday makes me feeling alive again." Paolo Crepax.
