Mono Vase

About the Item

The Mono Vase takes part of the MONOMORFO collection. Its terrazzo composition is made of leftover glass crystals from a glass crystal factory in Minas Gerais, Brazil. This leftover material contributes to the creation of unique and colorful patterns for each piece produced. The materiality of Assimply's designs manifests itself in the use of traditional terrazzo techniques combined with an innovative vision that incorporates non-traditional elements in its composition. MONOMORFO is what exists in only one singular and crystalline form. We believe that this meaning is present in this collection from the initial production phase to the final object, since the technique, design, and processing of the materials do not allow identical pieces. The design of the items has a clear reference to the Brazilian modern architecture, in the curved lines of Oscar Niemeyer's Rio de Janeiro modernism and in Burle Marx's paintings and gardens.
