About the Item

Large scale, carved ceramic sculptural form created by Anne Goldman of California. Wheel-thrown carved, sculpted and pierced stoneware wide-shouldered vase-form vessel, decorated with porcelain and iron slips. Very heavy. From the Artist's statement: "Nature is so perfect. It's just all there, the Formations, the caves, the stones. What I attempt to express is my love and reverence for the beauty of this earth. Clay is my language".
