About the Item
Rare, and very colorful, vintage Murano hand blown painted style, multi-color splashes Italian art glass double spout vase with gold leaf throughout. Created in the manner of designer Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso, circa 1950s in the "Oriente" design. The A.Ve.M. (Arte Vetraria Muranese) workshop also had similar pieces in the shapes and style created. The vase has a very unusual abstract shape. It is profusely covered in gold leaf throughout the vase (see all close up photos). Would make a great display piece on any coffee table, dresser or credenza. Use it as flower vase, or just showcase it as the sculptural piece is. Mid-century era. Measures 8 1/2" tall x. 5 1/2" long x 4 3/4" wide.
