About the Item
This stunning Sommerso vase features faceted glass in beautiful shades of grey, crafted using the iconic Sommerso technique. The vase showcases dark and clear grey glass encased in clear glass, attributed to the renowned Mandruzzato workshop in Italy, circa 1960s. In excellent condition, it has no visible chips or cracks. Its elegant design makes it a perfect addition to a collection of Murano glass vases, or it can be used on its own as a striking flower or decorative vase. It also makes for a fantastic gift. This vase, featuring minimalist aesthetics and a geometric design, is one of the creations by designer Flavio Poli, produced by the renowned manufacturer Alessandro Mandruzzato.
