About the Item
This vase is made using the sommerso technique, typical of Murano, where several layers of colored glass are superimposed. This method was popularized by master glassmakers such as Seguso, Flavio Poli, and Mandruzzato.
Shape: The fluid, modern design is reminiscent of the work of glassmakers such as Mandruzzato (geometric shapes), AVEM (more organic forms), and Venini.
Glass quality: Authentic Murano glass is often heavier and very clear, with color transitions. This vase has no signature, but it is surely made by a Murano master glassmaker, given its high quality of workmanship.
