About the Item
A cute Murano glass vessel with Murrine, made by Marco and Mattia Salvadore and their team at Studio Salvadore on Murano ca. 2017. A mosaic of transparent canes and murrine, fused and rolled up on the glass pipe to make this nice vessel, using glassmaking skills that have been passed on in this family on the Island since the 17th century. This is your chance to acquire a small version, done by the same team that does monumental vases for the finest galleries. You will be getting an unique piece that requires the same skills during it's making, but is still very affordable. The vase is refined with different kinds of wheel carving. Although rather small, it is a true contemporary masterpiece from the island of Murano.
