Pair of German 19th century Augustus Rex Dresden covered urns hand-painted with pastoral scene on one side, and floral on the other. Each has a ram’s head on each side of the urn. No restorations have been made.

A magnificent pair of early 18th century Chinese celadon craqule ware vases. When they were exported to France in the 19th century, the French added bronze d’ore mounts. Here we see tops, side handles, and bases of bronze d’ore, crafted beautifully in the Rococo manner. This piece is a collection of a fourth generation, family owned business in New Orleans called The French Antique Shop. The store was first opened by Marie and Marcel Granet in Paris when they married in 1927. A jewish family, they came to the United States before the outbreak of the Second World War, leaving on the last boat out of Paris' port, Le Havre. This pair of French bronze hanging oil lamps dates back to the 19th century and suspend from beautifully elaborate heavy chain. The crown resembles a gothic revival sunburst, connecting to the lamp in three positions. The lamp itself features detailed casting with scroll work and patterned embellishments, a handle, top, and two arms. It has been fully converted to electricity.
