Pair of 19th Century Chinese Hand Painted Porcelain Vases on Brass Bases
About the Item
These elegant colorful antiques vases were created in China circa 1870. Standing on platform brass bases, the large vessels feature a flared rim and tapered body. Each body is decorated with hand painted garden scenes depicting birds, wildflowers, and a pond on one side. The other side features traditional Chinese markings that fill the entire body. The tall vases are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use and adorn rich painted colors in a green and blue palette over a white background. Markings throughout the body for further identification.
