These pieces feature a captivating "crackle" texture, known in Murano glass as 'vetro a ghiaccio,' or ice glass. This effect is achieved by submerging the hot blown glass into cold water, causing a network of fissures to form on the surface, which is then re-heated and blown to create the final form. The result is a unique, organic, and highly tactile texture that plays with light in mesmerizing ways.
One vase is presented in a delicate, frosted pink hue, offering a soft and elegant contrast to its counterpart. The second is a vibrant cobalt blue, an intense and rich color that beautifully highlights the intricate white crackle pattern. Both vases have a graceful, flared silhouette, tapering slightly towards the base.
