An unusual pair of George IV silver-gilt cup and covers by John Bridge for Rundell, Bridge & Rundell. English, circa 1824-1826. Hallmarks for Rundell, Bridge & Rundell, London, 1824-1826. Each cup has a lobed circular foot, with a collared stem and a campana-shaped body decorated with a frieze depicting a pair of greyhounds chasing a rabbit against a naturalistic background. The detachable domed covers each with a recumbent greyhound finial. Total weight 61.5 ozt.
