About the Item
A pair of Japanese cast bronze vases, each of slender tapered form resting on a stepped base and rising to a narrow neck with everted, key-fret rim, applied to the shoulder with rinzu handles, each decorated with a mythical figure, one offering a tray of tama, the other with a bow, details in silver and colored wash, Meiji / Taisho Period (1900-1920), measures: 57cm (22.5")
