This is a striking pair of Chinese polychrome and overlaid porcelain vases in a pink ground. The pair features a range of floral motifs with a variety of overlaid vases and other traditional symbols in a vibrant color palette. It is rare to find overlaid porcelain of this quality in such a striking color palette. Each vase has a flared rim with delicate florals painted on the interior. Applied yellow, green and red handles in a traditional design on either side of the neck adding and a hand painted geometric pattern framing florals at the base enhance the prominence and elegance of these vases.
