Unique Murano glass Sommerso vase in dark green - yellow - transparent layers, signed by hand Romano Donà at the bottom (11.0 x 7.5cm) Heavy (11.5kg) and massif vessel handmade in darkgreen with yellow layering below and a solid transparent base. The shape is slightly squashed and the object has an oval mouth. Biography: Romano Donà born in Murano 1956. He begins to work very young with his father at the F.lli Manfren Glassworks. 1975 he started with glassmaster Livio Seguso where he continued for twenty years. There Romano refined his skills, not only in meeting the particular demands of Seguso but also in collaborating with severial artists such as Henry Mavrodin, Federica Marangoni, Mimmo Rotella and Ugo Marano...
