This is an artisan pair of vintage baluster vases. A Chinese, handpainted enamel and lustre decorative urn, dating to the Art Deco period, circa 1940. Eye-catching and tactile, with wonderful foliate decor Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order Delightfully handpainted with enamel and gilt over a lustre background Artisan pair, with matched patterns and one vase slightly larger Cobalt blue rim accentuated with white beaded finish, repeated around the base Colourful carnations adorn the dashing, lustre finished panels Incidental flowerheads set within a hexagonal blue repeating pattern Red export character marks adorn each base This is an attractive pair of vintage baluster vases, with a fine decorative appeal typical of the late Art Deco period, circa 1940.
