Palais Royal French Ormolu Mounted Pink Opaline Glass Vase
About the Item
A very finely made antique French Palais Royal ormolu mounted pink opaline glass vase dating from around 1850. The pedestal vase is of cylindrical shape and possibly originates from Baccarat. It sits raised within an ormolu metal mount with three dolphin feet. The hand-blown glass vase has a rounded foot with a narrow double knop stem and tall cylindrical shaped body in a beautiful and subtle peach pink color. The top of the vase is mounted with a very Fine open work ormolu rim and the vase is not marked.
