Rare 1930's Art Deco Ceramic Vase by Gunnar Nylund
About the Item
A fantastic antique ceramic vase by Gunnar Nylund. This vase has an extraordinary hand painted faux boise wood grain pattern. It has a matte burnt sienna glaze that's been hand applied with a dry brush and the effect is a warm wood grain finish. The rim is gilded. This Art Deco vase is marked "Model Nylund ALP Lidkoping Sweden" with three crowns and three impressed stars at the bottom. It's truly a rare find.
