RARE ART DECO Charles Catteau for Boch D1297 Swallows Vase
About the Item
Around the body runs a frieze with six stylized birds on a background of serrated circle segments (from the shoulder to halfway down the body). This frieze is bordered by lobed bands in black and turquoise. Both neck and foot are finished with a black band.
Material:Creamware
Technique:Slip-cast form. Decoration with printed contours filled in with yellow, black, cobalt and turquoise enamel.
