Rare Loetz Ball-Shaped Vase Titania Gre 4634 Art Nouveau Glass, ca. 1906

About the Item

The Titania decoration variants range among the most extravagant genres ever produced by Loetz. Glasses in this variant always proved to be a challenge for the executing glass blower and every vase is unique. This vase bears the rare Titania Genre 4634 decoration and excels with a beautiful shape. The spherical design is typical for the new design approach by Loetz around 1905 and was often utilized by famous Viennese Architects in their interiors.
