Rare Tall 19th C. Moser Crystal Fairytale Covered Pokal with Enamel and Gilding
About the Item
Rare Tall 19th C. Moser Crystal Fairytale Covered Pokal with Enamel and Gilding. The slender body is gorgeous with brightly hand-enameled decorations. The top is also gorgeous with ruffled crystal is with finished with gold speckles. The inside is completely hand-gilt with 24k gold. This is truly an impressive feat and we have never had a Moser vase with an interior finished in gold and enamel. The back and front of the vase consist of landscape cartouches painted with 24k gold and enamel. Covered pokals, such as this one, are very difficult to find in this quality, condition and colorway. The highly bright and colorful enamels are synonymous with Moser and their elaborate pieces of glass and crystal work.
