About the Item

Vladislav Urban, born 1937 Pilsen, Czechoslovakia, is a glass and jewelry designer. Urban, among others, was instrumental in the evolution of Czech pressed glass production. This midcentury modern lovely heavy amber pressed glass vase from 1968, has an abstract design of circles and intersecting lines that terminates as protrusion in the vase.    During the Communist era, glass production was delegated to Czechoslovakia while the making of ceramics and pottery was assigned to Hungary. Measurements: 4 3/4 inches high x 3 1/2 inches wide x 3 1/4 inches deep.
