About the Item

A stunning Bohemian Art Nouveau iridescent art glass vase with a textured finish attributed to Rindskopf or Kralik and dating from around 1900. This stylish hand-blown vase stands on a round integral pedestal style base with a squat round body and tall graduating funnel shaped neck with a shallow bowl-shaped top with a flat polished edge. The body of the vase has a textured finish with a wonderful dark blue, purple and golden iridescence. The vase is not marked but one of a variety of examples from the same collection. Provenance: From a wonderful collection of iridescent art glass which we are also offering for sale. Acquired from the UK Art Market In good condition with normal wear associated with age and use. There is a small surface chip to the underside of the footrim only visible if turned over.
