Royal Bonn - Franz Anton Mehlem, Hand Painted & Gilded Vase / Lamp, circa 1900

ROYAL BONN - FRANZ ANTON MEHLEM - Art Nouveau hand painted and gilded vase - featuring branches of pink and soft purple floral blossoms with thorns to the front and back (likely Flowering Quince) - all on a cream ground with gilding to the rim, handles and foot rim - signed on the base - original paper production or exhibition labels still attached to the base - Germany - circa 1900. Excellent antique condition - areas of crazing - hole drilled in the bottom - minor rubbing and loss/flakes to the gilding - no damage - no restoration - signs of age and use - lamp fittings and shade optional. Vase Size / Dimensions - Medium - 4 1/4" (11.0 cm.) Diameter x 14 1/8" (36.0 cm.) High. Lamp Size / Dimensions - Medium - 27" (68.5 cm.) High x 13" (33.0 cm.) Diameter (Over-all).
